After all these years, Spicy Tuna still rates 3 to 4 stars...closer to 3 if I'm being completely honest. ST is where you can buy budget sushi, knowing full well that you get what you pay for. The Chinese cuisine is pretty ok, but it's far from great. We've always had great service. Not an issue here. Drew got it done last night. The mixed drinks are average, as is the beer selection. Atmosphere: Overall, it hasn't changed much since they opened. Which is fine...it's clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, they did get rid of the game room and the cool/campy murals on the back wall. Not a good move IMO. So be it. Yeah, 3.14159265 stars...I'll round up to 4 just because of the fact that Spicy Tuna is reliably predictable. Never great, and never bad.
This is a pretty good sushi place for Toledo! The fish is pretty fresh and not very fishy. The staff are nice and the interior is nice! The patio is nice, although it's looking out at a parking lot. The different daily deals and happy hour are great! Overall, I would recommend this place and will go multiple times!

Amazing place with consistently good food. Both the sushi rolls and the kitchen food is always good, fresh and cooked exactly how we want it. We are always seated promptly and the servers are polite and accommodating. Highly recommend the Volcano Roll :)
No mackerel. Dang. Having a variety of testing ideas. Octopus, sea bass, and a cooked version of prawns and lobster with vegez. Geez everything was really delicious and pretty to see. I have become an octopus fan, having it prepared several ways in restaurants and also by myself at home.
Okay okay, I'm back and updating my review. Spicy Tuna is what I like to call, Bro Sushi, and I appreciate it for what it is. It's quick, not the highest quality, but it's friendly, fun, fills any cravings, and it's actually pretty tasty doing its thing. Spicy Tuna is THE place for every teen in my life right now, they go there several times a week, and I finally gave it and tagged along to give it another go. Pretty damn good. And even better are their specials. We hit it up during the day and they have amazing combos that include soup/salad, an appetizer, and a roll for only $13. Not to mention all the half-off sushi nights. I really love their Red Dragon roll and Cherry Blossom roll, along with their gyoza and bang, bang shrimp. I've had the same server every time I've gone, and she's wonderful. This is a great hangout spot, I'm now a total fan!
